Who we are and what we do:
     -AWRA is a national non-profit professional association dedicated to the advancement of water resources   
     management, research, and education
     -Delaware has a state section that is a mix of professionals from many disciplines: engineers, nonprofits,                  people in state and local government like DNREC, scientists and researchers
     -We are the student chapter, and we do social activities, community service, and academic activities with the 
     state chapter
 
Membership:
     -Student chapter membership is $5; email de.awra@gmail.com for a membership form and turn in at the                  WRA or to an officer
          -Includes state section membership and benefits, we keep the dues
          -Puts you on the state section email list and allows you to attend state section events
          -National membership is $30
          -Student chapter membership does not include national membership
          -A lot of advantages to national membership, something to consider

     -Mentoring program    
     -Career night
